The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston is one of 12 banks in the Federal Reserve System that serves as the central bank of the United States. In order to do this the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston has pioneered cutting edge payment methods, developed state of the art data security programs, and conducted extensive research to assist in policy directives from the Federal Government. The Boston Federal Reserve serves the First Federal Reserve District that includes the six New England states: Connecticut (excluding Fairfield County), Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Paul Brassil is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Pawtucket Credit Union. Previously, Paul held various senior IT leadership roles in the industry.
