Moline, IL-based John Deere Company has promoted Patrick Webber as Vice President of Information Technology.

Patrick Webber is Vice President, Information Technology for Deere & Company, a position he has held since October 2011. He is responsible for all global information technology activities for the company. Webber joined Deere & Company in 1977. He has progressed through jobs of increasing responsibility in information technology including global computer operations, telecommunications, application system development, enterprise architecture, and information technology strategic planning. He was promoted to Manager, Computing Services at John Deere Credit in 1992. He returned to Deere & Company in 1996 as Manager, Telecommunications Networks. In 2000, he was appointed Director, Information Systems, a position he held until 2009 when he was appointed to lead the Global Application Solutions organization. A native of Wisconsin, Webber has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University. Webber is a member of The Research Board and a board member for the American Red Cross of the Quad Cities.
