Patrick McMullen is a Co-Founder, a Member of the Board of Directors and the Chief Technical Officer of Calnetix Technologies. Mr. McMullen has over 20 years of experience in the magnetic devices field for high-speed equipment.
Prior to rejoining Calnetix in 2013, Mr. McMullen served as the Chief Technical Officer at Vycon, Inc., a manufacturer of flywheels for backup power, energy storage and regeneration applications and a former subsidiary of Calnetix. Mr. McMullen developed the original flywheel system concept while at Calnetix, where he previously served as Vice President, with responsibility for engineering and technology growth. Prior to the establishment of Calnetix, he was the Vice President of Research and Development at Avcon.
Mr. McMullen is the author of multiple patents and publications in high-speed turbomachinery and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
