About the Person

As vice president of management information systems at Thermo Fisher Scientific, formerly One Lambda, Inc., a global medical and diagnostics company, Pandora Ovanessian was responsible for the company’s enterprise systems and operations. In this role, she supported the development of highly-complex commercial proprietary software used at over 1,400 facilities worldwide. Prior to Thermo Fischer Scientific, Ovanessian was chief information officer at Golden State Foods, a global manufacturing and logistics company. In 1996, Ovanessian joined NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory as division manager and CIO. She was published in the May 1999 issue of Oracle’s Profit magazine for her successful launch at JPL. Furthermore, she was recognized in the 1999 edition of the International Who’s Who of Information Technology. Ovanessian graduated with a bachelor’s in business and economics from UCLA. She also earned an MBA with a specialization in Information Systems from Pepperdine University.
