Welcome to Invest Newark: Newark`s Economic Development Catalyst Invest Newark (Formerly The Newark Community Economic Development Corporation - Newark CEDC) is the primary economic development catalyst for Newark, New Jersey, was organized to retain, attract and grow businesses, enhance small and minority business capacity, and spur real estate development within the city. Invest Newark initiates and executes economic development activities to produce and sustain economic growth, generate jobs and create wealth for the citizens of Newark. Our major functions include: Business Attraction and Retention – We work with companies interested in expanding or relocating in Newark and guide them every step of the way. We introduce business enterprises to the City, its market and its assets. We assist companies with their location decisions including analysis of demographics, economic indicators, workforce information, available buildings and sites and other information relevant to business location decisions. Real Estate – Invest Newark helps both developers and businesses tap into Newark`s vast development opportunities by assisting with a wide range of services, including site selection, permitting and approvals and gap financing. Business Development and Entrepreneurship– No business is too small for us to help, whether it`s through a loan from our Grow Newark Fund or our Bond Assistance Program for construction industry firms that provides working capital loans, direct bonding assistance and technical assistance. We are deeply committed to helping minority- and women-owned businesses thrive in Newark.

Grace Farms Foundation was established in 2009 as a private operating foundation with 501c3 status in New Canaan, Connecticut. The Foundation supports initiatives in the areas of nature, arts, justice, community, and faith, and encourages participation on a local, national, and global level. Grace Farms Foundation carries out its work principally through the publicly available facilities and integrated programs of Grace Farms, an 80-acre property owned and operated by the Foundation, where individuals and not-for-profit organizations can come together to collaborate for good. Located in Fairfield County near the New York border, Grace Farms is a new cultural and community center encompassing 80 acres of open space.
