The NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) opened March 1, 2006, on the grounds of Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. NSSC is a public/private partnership between NASA and Computer Sciences Corporation Service Providers. NSSC consolidated selected activities from all NASA Centers in the areas of: Financial Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Procurement. The NSSC is a center that performs a variety of transactional and administrative activities that were being done at each Center.
