American Seafoods operates a fleet of six fishing vessels in the sustainable fisheries of the Bering Sea and the North Pacific Ocean. We are the world`s largest at-sea processor of Wild Alaska Pollock and hold the largest allocation of Wild Pacific Hake (Whiting). Our quality-assured products are distributed around the globe.
In 1921, 320 dairy farmers met in St. Paul, Minnesota, to form the Minnesota Cooperative Creameries Association. Their idea was simple—join together to effectively market and distribute members dairy production across the country. From there, we quickly set our sights on growth. Just eight years after establishing our butter marketing organization, we expanded into the ag services and feed businesses. Our international journey kicked off 52 years later, as we began relaying the lessons we had learned to support local agriculture in developing nations around the world. Those efforts have also helped us expand our commercial business beyond the borders of the United States. Today, our four businesses give us a farm-to-fork view of agriculture. In 2006, WaBa Grill was founded in sunny Southern California on the principle that healthy food made with quality fresh ingredients doesn`t have to be expensive, and that making smart eating decisions doesn`t come at a sacrifice for taste. We receive raw vegetables and proteins through our delivery doors and we serve you these same items on our plates and in our bowls as nature intended and that means cooking without the use of fryers, heat lamps or so much as a single drop of oil - just a little bit of WaBa magic is all it takes!
