Monroe County`s Department of Information Services provides technology solutions, strategies and support to meet the needs of both internal County departments and external customers such as towns, villages, the city, law enforcement agencies and citizens. This includes providing both project management and break/fix support for all county computer, server, network, telephone, Internet and business systems. A fully integrated, scaleable and modernized enterprise in which all County departments, offices and municipalities can securely access information on-demand to deliver government services promptly to the citizens of Monroe County in an effective and efficient manner.

 

About the Person

Nelson Rivera has served as Monroe County's Chief Information Officer since 2004. Rivera also served as Director of Information Services with the Maggie Brooks administration.
