Myrna Soto is SVP & CIISO (Chief Infrastructure and Information Security Officer) at Comcast. In her role Myrna is responsible for Enterprise Information and Infrastructure Security strategy at Comcast. She oversees the several security teams focusing on the protection of customer data, the security of Comcast’s Enterprise and Delivery infrastructure as well as all technology compliance related activities. Focus areas for her and her team include, data security, network security, forensic investigations, technology risk management, policy compliance, audit, regulatory compliance, as well as customer privacy. Myrna joined Comcast In September of 2009 and brings over 20 years of focused Information Technology and Security experience from a variety of industries. These industries include financial services, hospitality, Insurance/Risk Management and gaming/entertainment industry. Prior to joining Comcast Myrna served as CISO & Vice President of Information Technology Governance for MGM Resorts International (formerly known as MGM MIRAGE). She was responsible for Information Security (Data/Network), IT Audit & Compliance, Business Analysis, PMO (Project Management Office) and the development of a Six Sigma practice. She has previously held senior leadership positions with American Express, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Kemper Insurance. Myrna holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University as well as a Master of Science degree in Industrial Psychology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University. Myrna also holds a Masters Certification in Project Management from George Washington University and is a Certified Project Management Professional.
