Braffett was named CIO with the merger of SONY Music and BMG Entertainment in 2004 and is responsible for Sony Music’s global information systems and technology organization. His priority has been managing SONY Music’s IT portfolio to support Sony Music’s transformation to a digitally based business while maintaining a cost effective operation during a period of sustained industry contraction.
