NanoRacks is dedicated to helping stimulate use of low-orbit by having entered into a partnership with NASA that allows the Company to develop hardware and programs in the U.S. National Laboratory onboard International Space Station. We are unique in having been able to develop, operate and market commercially a family of facilities onboard the U.S. National Lab. Our low prices and commercial practices have put microgravity projects within the budgetary realm of hundreds of universities, smaller organizations and first-time commercial space research users. Customers today range from educational institutions to research organizations, both within the United States and around the world. We are committed to finally realizing the dream of routine commercial use of the unique environment of outer space.
Mike has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry and has extensive spacecraft design, fabrication and operations experience obtained through his association with the SPACEHAB Module program since 1991. Located in Houston, Texas, Mr. Johnson has extensive experience in working NASA programs on Mir, shuttle, Soyuz, HTV as well as commercial vehicles. In addition, Mr. Johnson holds 3 issued US Patents and has four others pending. Mr. Johnson received his B.A. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology in 1989.
