About the Person

Chief Technology Officer Mike Bertrand is a seasoned software executive with nearly three decades of experience leading the design and development of enterprise healthcare software solutions for hospitals, health systems and healthcare advisory firms.   Before joining xG Health, Mike was vice president of product development for HealthWyse, a leading provider of software solutions for the home healthcare industry. While at HealthWyse, he built and managed a highly regarded development group that was responsible for designing and delivering the leading mobile product for home healthcare professionals.   Previously, Mike spent more than eight years at PatientKeeper, a provider of EHR application integration platforms. As vice president of software development, he led the design and delivery of a large portion of the PatientKeeper product suite. Most notably he spearheaded the design and delivery of PatientKeeper’s computerized physician order entry (CPOE) application, which was voted “Best in KLAS” by KLAS, a leading healthcare research and insights firm. Before joining PatientKeeper, Mike also served as the director of software development for McKesson Corp. and as a software consultant at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.   Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Westfield State University in Westfield, Massachusetts.
