About the Person
Michael Wallace is the Chief Technology Officer at Silk Road Medical and has a proven track record of bringing new, pioneering products and procedures to the market during his 20 years in the Medical device space. Prior to joining Silk Road Medical, Mike held executive leadership roles as the VP of R&D at Boston Scientific with 1 year in Electrophysiology & 10 years in the Neurovascular Division, Executive VP of R&D and Operations at start-up Baxano (acquired by Trans1) and VP of R&D for start-up Barrx Medical (acquired by Covidien). Mike obtained his B.S. & M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in Bioengineering from University of Delaware and University of California, Davis, respectively. Mike has over 120 issued or pending US patent applications and several scientific publications.
