About the Company

Rockingham Memorial Hospital, located in Harrisonburg, VA, is a community hospital that has been providing healthcare services since 1912. Serving a seven-county area with a population of close to 200,000, the 238-bed hospital admits more than 16,300 inpatients, nearly 192,000 outpatients and delivers close to 1,700 babies annually. RMH averages more than 18,500 surgical procedures annually, and the RMH Hahn Cancer Center provides more than 14,000 cancer treatments per year. The RMH Emergency Department treats more than 72,000 patients per year.  

 

About the Person

Michael Rozmus joined RMH in 2003 as director, information technology/Chief Information Officer and became vice president, Information Services, in 2007. Before coming to RMH, Rozmus served as vice president of information services for Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick, Md. Before that he worked as the manager of information resources and as senior financial analyst at Pittsburgh Mercy Health System in Pittsburgh, Penn. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s in business administration with a focus on information technology from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
