As Chief Technology Officer, Michael Plotkin plays a key role in shaping the firm’s technology strategy as SmartLinx accelerates growth and leadership within the workforce management domain. A veteran technology executive, experienced by more than two decades of developing complex and innovative technologies in finance, digital media, social networking, and e-commerce, he is responsible for developing the company’s workforce management solutions. Prior to SmartLinx, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Syncordia Technologies and Healthcare Solutions, a public Canadian healthcare revenue cycle management company developing advanced RCM cloud solutions. Prior to Syncordia, as Vice President of Development at McGraw Hill Financial, he oversaw the development of financial software for pricing and risk management. He also served as Chief Technology Officer at Electronic Arts Online and Chief Architect at Sony. For NeXT, he directed the design and development of innovative large-scale online applications, including the largest e-commerce systems of their time for clients including Dell and Fedex. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia.
