About the Person
Founding partner and CTO for Sovereign Systems, an IT infrastructure consulting organization focused on helping organizations transform and deliver IT as a Service. Responsible for creating and driving infrastructure strategy and solutions in support of Sovereign’s consulting, architecture, implementation and managed services expertise. Operationally responsible for managing a $50M+ company that was in the top tier of the Inc. 500. Prior to founding Sovereign, Michael managed the storage practice for a $1B+ IT systems integrator. He was responsible for developing and managing infrastructure strategy in support of all storage related hardware, software and professional service efforts. Provided pre and post-sales engineering support to over 70 storage, networking and leasing sales representatives located throughout the United States. Additional experience includes over 19 years in IT serving in both consulting (Big 5) and operational support capacities. Deep technical expertise in storage, database technologies, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and cloud enablement platforms.
