About the Person

Michael Healy is an executive director and chief information officer of AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company. He is responsible for the company’s Information Technology function, directing all systems strategy and delivery, including infrastructure, application development, corporate architecture and electronic commerce. He is also a member of the company’s executive management committee. Prior to his appointment as AXA Equitable’s chief information officer in 2010, Mr. Healy served as chief operations officer, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of AXA Equitable’s IT organization. These functions included Vendor Management, Audit & Compliance, Resource Management, Centers of Excellence development and implementation as well as Program Office responsibilities.  In that role, he also led the team responsible for the successful 2009 appraisal of AXA Equitable as a Level III CMMI organization. Before joining AXA Equitable in 2006, Mr. Healy served as a senior vice president at Marsh & McLennan, where he led the global IT program office. He also previously served as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, focused on defining IT strategy and implementing strategic projects for fortune 500 clients. Mr. Healy holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Business Administration from St. John`s University.
