Michael Ciano will be responsible for process improvement, IT strategies, partner enablement, product portfolio and marketing. Michael brings a unique blend of experience to support Nectar’s global channel development and IT requirements and initiatives. As an IT executive leader within global enterprise customers for over 20+ years, Michael helped develop go-to-market strategies, market portfolios and business plans for managing and delivering newly developed managed services offerings. Earlier in his career, Michael was the Senior Director of Enterprise Network Services and the IT security officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. He was responsible for the development and execution of their infrastructure and security strategic plan to meet HIPAA and other regulatory security requirements. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Network Services at Iron Mountain, responsible for rebuilding the global infrastructure for domestic and international locations. Mike also worked as the interim CIO and director of global network systems for TAC Worldwide Companies, an IT and engineering staffing company. Michael holds a BS in Systems Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and later graduated from the Babson School of Management.
