Wilkesboro, NC-based Lowe's Companies has announced the retirement of Michael K. Brown as Chief Information Officer.

Sales grew over time and we expanded all across the country and now operate stores not only in the United States, but also in Canada and Mexico. Although times have changed since Lowe`s first opened its doors in 1946, Lowe`s values have not— the company remains committed to offering high-quality home improvement products at everyday low prices, while delivering superior customer service.
About the Person
Mr. Michael K. Brown, Mike served as the Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President at Lowe's Companies Inc. since January 2011. Mr. Brown served as Executive Vice President of store operations at Lowe's from December 2006 to January 2011. He also served as Senior Vice President of Store Operations for South Central Division since 2004 and Senior Vice President of Store Operations for Western Division at Lowe's from 2001 to 2004. At Lowe's, Mr. Brown also served as Vice President of Specialty Sales from 1999 to 2001, Regional Vice President of Northeast Division from 1998 to 1999 and Merchandising Vice President of Lawn and Garden, Bag Goods/Chemicals and Outdoor Power Equipment from 1996 to 1998.
