Buffalo, NY-based Erie County has appointed Michael Breeden as Chief Information Officer.
Erie County government employs over 5,600 individuals and has an annual budget of $1.45 billion. Erie County administers vital public services, provides law enforcement and maintains public infrastructure for its roughly one million residents. The Erie County Executive is Mark C. Poloncarz, who took office in January 2012.
Previously Breeden was Director of Information Technology at Bureau Veritas.
