Matteson Partners, an Executive Search Corporation, is seeking to fill a senior level HR leadership role on behalf of our client, who is a leading global technology provider.
The individual will provide HR guidance to the business leadership and ensure the HR Business Partners are initiating and executing talent related strategies to maximize the performance of the business.
Essential skills and experience include over ten years in HR, with a significant amount on time in a management role with an understanding of all functional areas of HR, including both strategic and operational. The individual will have several direct reports so experience in HR leadership, building out a team, and a solid understanding of what drives the business is critical .
Desirable experience includes working in a high technology marketplace, either in a services or product based business that is global in nature and where the environment is dynamic and the culture is collaborative.
The position is located in Atlanta and will involve about 25% travel.

Key Responsibilities
• Working with the business leadership, build and execute human resource strategies and initiatives
• Conduct workforce analysis to build workforce intelligence and conduct workforce planning and talent analysis
• Deliver coaching on leadership to assist the line of business leaders be more effective leaders
• Build and execute effective compensation strategies to ensure compensation is aligned to business goals
• Provide training and development programs
• Build talent acquisition strategies to determine hiring needs as well as build and execute effective succession plans across the businesses
• Ensure compliance with HR policies
• Manage a team of HR Business Partners
Key Requirements
• Over 10 years in HR with over five years in a management position
• Strong HR knowledge and experience across all functional areas of HR including talent acquisition, employee engagement,workforce planning, compliance ,organizational design and compensation plan design
• Excellent leadership skills in with a consultative and collaborative style
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence through demonstrating value and credibility
• Superior business judgement with high level of business acumen
• Bachelors Degree
Preferred Requirements
• Experience in a high tech business either in product, software or value add services
• Global business experience
• PHR or SPHR Certification
