NCS Multistage, LLC is the world leader in coiled-tubing-enabled hydraulic fracturing technology used for multistage oil and gas well completions in shale and other unconventional formations. Marty Stromquist has served in technical and management positions in the oil and gas industry for more than 35 years, in both service provider and producer roles. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Cemblend Systems, Inc., a company that provided unique cementing solutions. Prior to that, he co-founded and served as vice president of Frac Source, Inc., which specialized in stimulation services for unconventional reservoirs. He also served as operations manager of the well services group for Pioneer Natural Resources USA, Inc., in Denver CO, and as technical manager for stimulation services for Halliburton Energy Services Canada. As a completions consultant he has designed and executed hundreds of well completions. Stromquist is recognized as a pioneer and leader in the field of coiled tubing fracturing. He holds numerous patents for completion-related tools and downhole procedures, and he has authored many articles that have appeared in Oil & Gas Journal, Well Servicing Magazine, The American Oil & Gas Reporter, and other oilfield journals. He has also contributed numerous technical papers presented at SPE international symposiums.
