Trenton, NJ-based Church & Dwight has Appointed Mark Sander as Global Chief Information Officer

About the Person

Mark Sander is currently the Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer for Church & Dwight Co., Inc., a leader in the Household Consumer Products and Personal Care industry, with a diverse portfolio of brands including ARM & HAMMER, Trojan, First Response, Nair, Spinbrush, Oxi Clean, Orajel and more.    Prior to joining Church & Dwight, he spent 27 years in the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Products industries holding leadership positions in Supply Chain and Manufacturing, as well as Technology.  Mr. Sander’s prior employers include Bristol Myers Squibb, Pfizer, Merck-Medco, Schering-Plough, Mannkind Corp. and Shionogi Inc.  He has successfully built and led multiple start-up organizations, led the Manfucturing IT organization at Schering-Plough through the resolution of the largest FDA Consent Decree ever issued,  and championed the effective paperless automation of numerous manufacturing, clinical, order fulfillment and planning operations. Mr. Sander received a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University in Applied Mathematics (Operations Research & Management Sciences), with a second major in Industrial Management.  He also holds an M.B.A. in International Business and Finance from New York University and is certified as a Six Sigma Black belt. Mr. Sander has been active in the community throughout his career including: serving as a mentor with the Society for Information Management; serving as Vice President Administration, member of the board of directors, crew chief and driver for the Stamford Volunteer Ambulance Corps.; Co-founder of the Carnegie Mellon University Emergency Medical Services organization; and coach for his town’s recreational sports league.
