Beltsville, MD-based Vocus has Promoted Mark Heys as Chief Technology Officer
Vocus provides leading cloud-based marketing and public relations software that enables companies to acquire and retain customers. The company offers products and services to help clients attract and engage prospects, nurture and convert customers, and measure and improve marketing effectiveness. More than 16,000 annual subscription customers across a wide variety of industries use Vocus software. The company is headquartered in Beltsville, MD with offices in North America, Europe and Asia.
Mark Heys is responsible for information technology, including development of our marketing and PR software. During his time at Vocus, Heys has led the development group and architected the company’s award-winning PR software as well as the Vocus Marketing Suite which has become the fastest selling product launch in company history. He was also instrumental in migrating the Vocus application to the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. Heys was previously the Development Manager at T4G Limited, where his team was responsible for developing the company's award-winning Point of Sale System for the Windows Platform. Prior to T4G, Heys was the founder and CEO of Definitive Ideas, a company that was the one of the first to introduce a Windows-based Point of Sale application.
