Marc Franciosa has served since 2010 as vice president and chief information officer for Praxair, Inc., where he is responsible for global information technology services. Praxair is the largest industrial gases company in North and South America, and one of the largest of its kind worldwide. The Fortune 250 company produces, sells and distributes atmospheric, process and specialty gases, and high-performance surface coatings. Franciosa joined Praxair in 2008 as director of global enterprise resource planning deployments in the Information Technology Services department, and was named director of business solutions the following year. He has managed large-scale teams of globally dispersed resources and has been recognized for transforming and aligning technology to better meet business needs and deliver consistent shareholder results. He brings to the Greenleaf board a unique combination of technology prowess and business acumen - a mix that has been tremendously beneficial to the company. Before joining Praxair, Franciosa worked for The BOC Group for more than 12 years, in positions of increasing authority in the U.S., South Africa, Australia and United Kingdom that culminated in his work as senior vice president, IS Supplier Management. When that company merged in 2006 with the German corporation the Linde Group, (thereby creating the world`s largest industrial gas and engineering company,) Franciosa stayed on and managed the global information systems integration as the company`s senior vice president, IS Management.
