Plymouth, MI-based Movimento has Appointed Mahbubul Alam as Chief Technology Officer
Movimento is the undisputed leader in automotive firmware reflashing and secure over-the-air (OTA) technology having successfully completed millions of vehicle and module updates for major OEMs and tier-one suppliers worldwide. Industry pioneers such as Bosch, Continental, Denso, Ford, GM, Jaguar Land Rover, Panasonic, Shanghai GM, and Volvo depend on Movimento technology and expertise for secure updates throughout the vehicle production lifecycle – from R&D through production to aftermarket. In business since 2003, Movimento has offices in China, Europe, Mexico, and the United States.
Before joining Movimento, Mahbubul Alam grew Cisco`s M2M business from the ground up to $350 M in four years. In addition to pioneering and developing the IoT/M2M vision, strategy, platform, and execution plan, he helped initiate the company`s Smart Connected Car roadmap. Prior to this, he defined, developed, and delivered Cisco`s flagship 4G LTE router, IoT edge-cloud gateway, and next-gen integrated services router (ISR G2), successfully driving customer engagement and sales.
