Madeleine Fackler is vice president and CIO for Johnson & Johnson’s consumer group of companies. She is responsible for the management of information technology and related systems and for driving business growth across the $14.9B Johnson & Johnson consumer business. Fackler is also responsible for leading the IT innovation strategy across the Johnson & Johnson enterprise. In addition to her IT responsibilities, she leads Johnson & Johnson’s Consumer Digital Center of Excellence, responsible for setting the global digital strategy for the consumer segment. In addition, Fackler is a member of the consumer group operating committee and the Johnson & Johnson enterprise IT leadership team. She is also the sponsor of the Asia-Pacific Information Technology Council. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Fackler spent 17 years at Hewlett-Packard in a variety of roles in R&D, manufacturing, and information technology — all within the computer sector. She also served as vice president of worldwide applications at 3Com and spent two years at an internet startup company. Fackler holds a B.A. in mathematics and economics from Smith College and an M.S. in computer engineering from Stanford University.
