Milwaukee, WI-based BloodCenter of Wisconsin has promoted Lynn Briggs to Chief Information Officer.
BloodCenter of Wisconsin provides communities with a continuum of care that includes the discovery, diagnosis, treatment and cure of many life-altering health conditions.
Lynne succeeds Rodeina Davis as Principal Investigator for the RFID study. She has been involved with the industry RFID initiative since its inception. Lynne is a member of the ISBT RFID Working Party, and is former chair and a current a member of the AABB IS Committee. Prior to joining BloodCenter, Lynne was Vice President of software engineering for Catalyst International (now CDC software) a leading supplier of warehouse management software solutions for the fortune 500, has held director level management positions within the retail and behavioral health market spaces, and spent over 10 years in military/defense systems development and validation. Lynne earned her B.S. in Information Systems/Economics, from the University of Minnesota Carlson School, completed her masters course work in labor and industrial relations at the University of Illinois, and is currently completing her MBA at the University of Wisconsin.
