Since 1938, the NJCAA has served as the nation`s premier governing body for two-year collegiate athletics, providing student-athletes opportunities to PREPARE, COMPETE, SUCCEED and ACHIEVE in their academic and athletic disciplines. The NJCAA is the second-largest national intercollegiate athletic organization in the United States with over 500 member schools in 42 states. Each year over 3,400 teams compete in 25 different sports across multiple divisions in the NJCAA and the organization sponsors 47 national championship events and nine football bowl games.
The North Valley Arts Council (NoVAC) supports and promotes arts and culture for the artists, arts organizations, and citizens of Greater Grand Forks. NoVAC envisions a community where artists and arts groups have the means to create and further their art forms, to draw and cultivate audiences that appreciate, support and participate in the arts, to play a key role in fostering a vibrant quality of life of the Upper Red River Valley, and to clearly add to the economic success of the region.
The YMCA of Los Angeles has been making a positive impact in our communities for over 130 years. Our 25 branches stretch across over 100 miles of Los Angeles County, from Antelope Valley to San Pedro. Our membership community is 264,500 strong. Membership is open to all, with financial assistance available to those who cannot afford it. This year, the LA Y helped 1 out of 3 member families with financial assistance. We cannot do our work alone, extending our work with over 200 community partners across the county, including schools, hospitals, clinics, cities and other civic organizations.
