The mission of Judson Center, a non-profit, human service agency located in Southeastern Michigan, is to help children, adults and families improve their lives.
The Canadian Museum of Nature is more than a natural history museum. Behind our public face is a vibrant, multi-layered, multi-faceted organization composed of world-renown research scientists, collection specialists, education and multimedia specialists, and innovators. Purpose: to increase throughout Canada and internationally, interest in, knowledge of and appreciation and respect for the natural world by establishing, maintaining and developing for research and posterity a collection of natural history objects, with special but not exclusive reference to Canada, and by demonstrating the natural world, the knowledge derived from it and the understanding it represents.
Guide Dogs for the Blind is more than an industry-leading guide dog school; we are a passionate community that serves the visually impaired. With exceptional client services and a robust network of trainers, puppy raisers, donors and volunteers, we prepare highly qualified guide dogs to serve and empower individuals who are blind or have low vision. All of our services are provided free of charge; we receive no government funding. GDB has two campuses: one is headquartered in San Rafael, California — 20 miles north of San Francisco, another in Boring, Oregon — 25 miles east of Portland.
