For nearly 70 years, heathy stable families have been at the heart of Lifetrack. As a leading non-profit organization with offices in St. Paul, Minneapolis and Rochester (MN), we work together to develop the strengths within children, adults and families who are navigating life`s greatest challenges. We reduce disparities on the ground level, working to empower those who experience the most barriers to success. Every day, our work makes our community stronger through a unique family-centered approach that helps 40,000 Minnesotans put hope within reach and create a better life for themselves and their families. Stabilizing Families When adults have sustainable employment, they create stability for themselves and provide a solid foundation for the next generation. Each year, Lifetrack helps 1,400 people with disabilities, immigrants and refugees, and people experiencing poverty launch and develop careers that are meaningful to them. Empowering Parents A strong and nurturing parent fulfills the central role in a child’s growth and happiness. Lifetrack offers parenting education and connections to community resources for over 1,500 families experiencing poverty or families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Over 35,000 adults seek our educational resources to balance work and family demands. Fostering Resilience in Children Children are resilient when they are able to move forward after facing minor setbacks, daily challenges, or even a traumatic event. Lifetrack helps over 260 children each year who experience the stresses of poverty find their strengths and prepare for kindergarten. We help over 1,400 children who are deaf or hard of hearing build confidence with role models, American Sign Language instruction, and community support.
Youth Villages is a national leader in children`s mental and behavioral health, bringing help and hope to tens of thousands of children, families and young people across the United States every year. Founded in 1986, the organization`s 3,000-plus employees help more than 30,000 children annually in 21 states across the U.S. For more than 30 years, we have worked to find solutions using proven treatment models that strengthen the child`s family and support systems and dramatically improve their long-term success. Since 1994, our organization has tracked every child who completes a program and has recorded consistently high success rates. In 2018, 86% of the children are still living successfully at home with their families 12 months after completing their program. Youth Villages has been recognized by the Harvard Business School and U.S. News & World Report and was identified by The White House as one of the nation`s most promising results-oriented nonprofit organizations.
