Established in 1864, Good Shepherd Services is a non-profit residential treatment center for adolescents, ages 13 to 21, who are suffering from severe emotional and behavioral problems. Located on 70 wooded acres in Baltimore County, the Center provides therapeutic services and an MSDE-approved non-sectarian education in a residential and day school setting for students from throughout Maryland. Good Shepherd Services (also known as the House of the Good Shepherd of the City of Baltimore) is dedicated to the belief that no matter how severe the symptoms, all children can be reached and succeed in having productive lives. Consistent with our heritage of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, the mission is “Love in Action” and the belief that “One person is more precious than a world.” The Sisters of the Good Shepherd constantly explore innovative ways to build a stronger network of Good Shepherd programs across North America with the ultimate goal of ensuring that the special commitment and values behind the Good Shepherd mission endures as a lasting legacy. Since 1907, Albertina Kerr has strengthened Oregon families and communities. Today, we provide programs and services to children and adults with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges - empowering them to live richer lives. We`re building an army of angels. A community that stands together. Where we challenge the norm to create a society that has no barriers. Where people who face developmental disabilities and mental health challenges are included and empowered. Where families are supported and children have reason to smile. Where everyday people reach out to the most vulnerable and give back to their community.
U.S. Wheat Associates (USW) is the export market development organization for the U.S. wheat industry. USW promotes the reliability, quality and value of all six U.S. wheat classes to wheat buyers, millers, bakers, food processors and government officials in more than 100 countries around the world. Funding is made possible through checkoff dollars, goods and services from 19 state wheat commissions and cost-share grants from the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. USW does not buy, sell nor process wheat; we do help make it easier for everyone else who does. USW proudly represents the hard-working farm families that produce enough wheat every year to fill American tables, while still supplying a leading share of world wheat trade.
