Lidia L. Fonseca serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Orchid Cellmark Inc. Ms. Fonseca served as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President at Laboratory Corp. of America Holdings from May 2008 to March 31, 2013. Ms. Fonseca joined Laboratory Corp. of America Holdings in May 2008. She served as an Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Technology at Synarc, Inc. She served as the senior vice president of technology and operations since 2005. She joined to Synarc from Philips Medical Systems, where she served various roles including Vice President of Supply Chain Management for the Nuclear Medicine business from 2003 to 2005, General Manager of Global eBusiness, and Global Chief Information Officer from 1997 to 2005. She was responsible for over 1,100 staff members and managed an annual operating budget of $350 million. She has an MBA and MBI from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus Graduate School of Business and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
