Les Ottolenghi has been the Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President at Caesars Entertainment Corporation since February 16, 2016. Mr. Ottolenghi is responsible for shaping and implementing Caesars` technology agenda across all company platforms. He is a proven leader in the gaming and hospitality sectors. Mr. Ottolenghi is a top global technology executive who joins Caesars from Las Vegas Sands Corporation, where he served as the Chief Information & Innovation Officer. Mr. Ottolenghi was a Co-Founder and served as Chief Executive Officer of INTENT MediaWorks, Inc. He co-founded FuzeBox Inc. Mr. Ottolenghi served as Advisor of Kuboo, Inc. (also known as Safe Communications Inc.) since May 2011. Prior to INTENT MediaWorks, he co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of AgentWare. He served as Vice President of Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where he led a team that built the groundbreaking Mercavia Network, tying more than 5,000 travel agents directly to travel suppliers via the Internet. He has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur in start-ups and as an executive in Fortune 500 companies. He advised the White House in March 2005 on new business models and has testified before the U.S. Supreme Court (re: MGM v. Grokster) and the Federal Trade Commission regarding legitimate P2P use. He served as the Chairman of Kuboo, Inc. (also known as Safe Communications Inc.) until May 2011. He serves as a Director of Mediavix, Inc. Mr. Ottolenghi serves as an adjunct Professor at Emory University, teaching technology and business strategy. He has authored the Web 2.0 strategic plan for the largest music publisher in the world and advises TBS, Turner Studios, Starz and The Discovery Channel. In 2006, he received the Innovator of the Year award by the Distributed Computing Industry Association. Mr. Ottolenghi has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, having been named a Top 60 CIO by Execurank, and in 2015 he was nominated for CIO of the Year by CIO Magazine. Mr. Ottolenghi earned a B.A. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Emory University`s Goizueta School of Business, where he received a Woodruff Fellowship and graduated Beta Gamma Sigma.
