About the Person

Kuan Archer, Chief Operating Officer, leads Green Dot’s worldwide technology organization, including Information Technology and product development. His responsibilities also include overseeing vendor management and procurement, business continuity, human resources, supply chain and retail execution. Prior to joining Green Dot, Kuan served as Senior Vice President of the Cloud Services Platform division at Rovi Corporation. Prior to joining Rovi, Kuan served in various leadership roles at Symantec Corporation where among other things, he was responsible for designing the company’s first web- and mobile- based consumer identity protection and transaction security offering for Financial Institutions and eCommerce providers. Kuan has also held strategic product development and senior management roles at Microsoft Corporation, including experience in Microsoft`s Office, Visual Studio, and MSN divisions. Kuan holds multiple patents in the areas of Internet Security and web/device connectivity. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
