About the Person
Kristen E. Blum is the Chief Information Officer, Solutions, Data and Analytics at Pepsico. Previously, she served as the Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of J. C. Penney Company, Inc., since January 23, 2012. Ms. Blum served as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Enterprise Transformation at PepsiCo. She served as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President at Abercrombie & Fitch from 2006 to 2010. She was responsible for the strategic transformation of people, process and technology in support of international growth initiatives. Prior to that, Ms. Blum served as a Director of Supply Chain Solutions and International Retail at Apple, Inc. for four years, overseeing technology supporting global operations and the development of systems supporting Apple retail. She served as a Senior Manager at KPMG/Bearing Point, consulting for clients in the retail, consumer and high-tech industries from 1999 to 2002. She has also held merchandising, planning and allocation roles at Planet Hollywood, Walt Disney and Victoria's Secret. She is a Member of the National Retail Federation's CIO Council and a Governing Body Member of the CIO Summit, among other leadership roles in CIO-focused organizations. She also serves as a Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Dallas. Ms. Blum received a B.A. from The Ohio State University.
