About the Company

The North Orange County Community College District (NOCCCD) is a public educational institution established in 1965, dedicated to fostering growth and development for students and employees. It includes two prominent colleges, Cypress College and Fullerton College, along with North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE), which offers extensive continuing education programs. NOCCCD provides a variety of educational services, including credit-based programs that lead to associate degrees, vocational certificates, and transfer opportunities to four-year institutions. NOCE focuses on noncredit education, offering free programs that enhance basic skills, employability, and civic engagement. This includes adult basic skills, English as a Second Language (ESL), U.S. citizenship preparation, and vocational training. Serving over one million people in North Orange County, NOCCCD enrolls nearly 56,000 students annually in credit programs and more than 29,000 in NOCE programs. The district operates multiple locations, including Cypress College, Fullerton College, and several NOCE centers, as well as over 100 community-based sites. The district is led by Byron D. Clift Breland, Ph.D., and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, ensuring high educational standards.
