Founder and CEO Susie Hultquist, the mother of a teenage daughter with life-threatening food allergies, co-founded FARE Chicago in 2008 and worked for decades as a professional public equity investor. Spokin, which raised $1.5 million in funding during its first year, has partnered with some of Chicago`s premier organizations including The University of Chicago, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Lurie Children`s Hospital and Outcome Health (formerly ContextMedia).
