About the Person
An accomplished software innovator and entrepreneur, Kevin Falk joins LightSpeed with 20-years of expertise in developing successful point of sale (POS) and enterprise management solutions. While building Vivonet into one of the fastest growing technology companies in North America, Mr. Falk designed and created Halo, the first web-based POS for the restaurant industry. He was also responsible for creating Zata, a sales intelligence platform and benchmarking tool for the retail and hospitality industries. Mr. Falk previously served as co-founder, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Autoprise, Inc., a software and services company providing internet-based collision shop management systems, which he sold to a US based mid-cap publicly traded company in 2006. Recognized for excellence in entrepreneurship, Mr. Falk was named to the Vancouver “Top 40 Under 40” list in 2007.
