United States Department of Justice hired Kevin Deeley as Chief Information and Data Security Officer
The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) is a Cabinet department in the United States government designed to enforce the law and defend the interests of the United States according to the law and to ensure fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans.
Kevin Deeley had a big year. He filled in as acting CIO at Justice while contributing his expertise to broad efforts to secure federal networks. He was a leader on the Information Security and Identity Management Committee at the CIO Council, which convened CIOs and chief information security officers to develop new policy that was released by the Office of Management and Budget in November.
