About the Person

Kevin Blankenship comes to Vol State from Berea College in Berea, Ky., where he served as interim CIO and associate CIO/director of the Information Systems and Services division. He served in these and other roles at Berea College for nearly 10 years. Previous to that, he was director of information technology services at Madisonville Community College in Madisonville, Ky. Blankenship has a master’s of business administration degree from Morehead State University in Morehead, Ky., and Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Western Kentucky University.
