About the Person
Kevin Barnes is currently the Vice President of Global Information Services. In this role, he has overall responsibility for day-to-day leadership of Gallo’s Global IS organization. Kevin started his career with Gallo in late 2001 as a Director in the SMAS (Sales & Marketing Analytical Solutions) organization. Within 18 months he moved into the Manager Director role running the SMAS function. In January of 2005 Kevin moved over to the Corporate Information Services (IS) organization and assumed the role of Sr. Director IS for Sales, Marketing, and International services. In April of 2008 he assumed responsibility for heading up the Global Business Applications organization in IS, supporting all business functions at the Winery. In August of 2012 Kevin assumed his current role leading the overall IS organization globally. Kevin has worked for two companies over his 23 year career, both privately held family run businesses. His career started with one of the world’s largest privately held organizations - Mars, Inc. where he spent 11.5 years with the company prior to joining the Winery. During his career in the CPG industry Kevin has held a number of positions in both line and staff functions, with all but the last 8 years on the business side in Sales and Marketing roles. Kevin has been married for 21 years to his wife Heather and they have a daughter Hannah who will be a freshman in college this Fall. The family resides in Modesto, California. Kevin and Heather are both native Californians. The family enjoys spending time in the mountains snow skiing during the winter, and golfing and bike riding in the summer.
