BFY Holdings is comprised of Medora Snacks, LLC, which was founded in 2008 and is based in Middletown, NY, and Ideal Snacks Holding Corporation, which was founded in 1997 and is based in Liberty, NY. Medora’s primary brand, PopCorners®, is a high growth, better-for-you popped corn snack with a strong track record in the club and grocery segments within the U.S. and Canada and a presence in over 50 countries worldwide. Medora currently offers PopCorners®, PopCorners Whole Grain®, PopCrinkles®, and popped bean chips, and has a number of new products under development. Ideal is a contract manufacturer that produces popped snacks for branded CPG and retail customers. BFY’s mission is to become a global, diversified, better-for-you snack company, directly addressing the growing consumer trends toward healthier living and eating.
Founded in 1998, we were the first company to take American olive oil to a whole new level. While olives have grown in California for hundreds of years, we`ve pioneered new ways of cultivating and harvesting olives in order to make our extra virgin olive oil premium and affordable. We`ve developed our own ranches and helped family farmers throughout Northern California develop previously unusable farm acreage into olive orchards. The approach we take on growing olives uses time honored farming techniques while fully embracing modern technology; we even have apps that chart the history of each orchard. And we use sustainable production methods every step of the way.
When we created Urban Plates, our goal was simple: To use the best ingredients possible to create wholesome, delicious food that`s prepared before our guests` eyes just the way they want it. Our hope is that by making real food prepared by real chefs accessible to everyone in a convenient, comfortable setting we can empower anyone interested in making better food choices to be a bit healthier, happier and hopeful about the future. We`re based in San Diego, CA and found throughout the San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles areas, with additional locations in Northern California and Washington D.C.
