Ken Yerves is president of JM Service Center and executive vice president and chief administrative officer of parent company JM Family Enterprises, Inc., a diversified automotive corporation ranked No. 37 on Forbes list of “America’s Largest Private Companies.” JM Family’s principal businesses focus on vehicle distribution and processing, financial services, finance and insurance products, retail sales, marketing and consulting, and dealer technology products and services. Yerves is responsible for the strategic direction, development and operation of many of the company’s corporate functions and internal shared services, including human resources and information technology, which provide support to each of JM Family’s operating business units. JMSC improves the company’s competitive position by leveraging key services that deliver business solutions and enhance customer value. Yerves also serves as a member of JM Family’s Executive Management Team, which oversees the development and implementation of the company’s long-range planning and strategies for future growth. Yerves has held several positions within JM Family since joining the company in 1989, including chief technology officer and vice president of Technology Services. He previously worked as a system consultant for Todd Travel Promotions and Micro Consulting Company Inc. Yerves is an active member of the South Florida Regional Business Alliance, a not-for-profit corporation that brings business leaders together from Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and surrounding counties to develop comprehensive and measurable solutions to enhance the economic vitality of Southeast Florida. He also serves on the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army of Broward County, which provides relief programs and family and medical services to its local community. Yerves received his master’s of business administration from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Fla., and his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Dowling College in Oakdale, N.Y. He also graduated from Grumman Data Systems Institute in New York with a certification in computer programming. Yerves resides in Boca Raton, Fla., with his wife and three children.
