Cofounded by Frank M. Reynolds, MIT`s Dr. Robert S. Langer, Katrin Holzhaus, and Dr. Jason Criscione, PixarBio researches and develops targeted delivery systems for drugs, cells, or biologics to treat pain, epilepsy, Parkinson`s disease, and spinal cord injury.

 

About the Person

Ken Stromsland will develop PixarBio`s overall strategy for enterprise information technology (IT), including business engagement, solution development and support, and infrastructure, while also supporting the company`s strategy in drug discovery and development.   Ken has more than 20 years of experience as an innovative and transformative business leader in Financial Services with the majority of that experience from multiple roles up to the Executive Vice President level at Citibank, Managing Director level at TD Ameritrade, and Engineering roles in the Pharmaceutical industry with Johnson & Johnson.   Ken is a proven leader who combines a Master`s level education form the Wharton Business School & Penn Engineering with a total commitment to excellence, resulting in significant achievements in IT, Operations and Marketing. He has excellent business acumen and has driven project teams and direct reports globally to execute on plan. He is recognized as a key influencer up, down and across his organizations, gaining buy-in and sponsorship for organization wide transformational programs. Ken lives in Manhattan with his wife, son, and new baby girl.
