Ken Mackley has more than 20 years of healthcare information technology experience. He started his career in information technology at St. Joseph’s Area Health Services in Park Rapids as the data processing coordinator. The hospital was purchased by Catholic Health Initiatives and his most recent role there was regional chief information officer.
He was responsible for 13 critical access hospitals and two care centers located in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Most of Mackley’s healthcare experience came as the information technology manager at the hospital in Park Rapids, where he has lived for the past 24 years. Mackley is a Deer River High School graduate and has a four-year degree in computer science from Bemidji State University.
