Our innovative engineering dates back to 1933 and today Danfoss is a world-leader, employing more than 25,000 employees and serving customers in more than 100 countries. We are still privately held by the founding family. In 2016, net sales grew to DKK 39.2bn (EUR 5.3bn) following 6% local currency growth. EBIT improved to DKK 4.3bn (EUR 572m), equal to an EBIT margin of 10.9%. Net profit improved 13% to the record level of DKK 2.9bn (EUR 394m).
