About the Person

Keith W. McIntosh, also known as "Mac" is the Associate Vice President for Digital Instruction and Information Services (DIIS) and Chief Information Officer (AVP/CIO) at Ithaca College. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Administration, the AVP/CIO provides vision, leadership, oversight, and management of the College’s academic and administrative information technology services, facilities, hardware, software, and staff. He oversees the ITS operating budget of about $11 million and a staff of 74.   Prior to this he was the Vice Chancellor for Information Technology (IT) at Pima County Community College District. As Vice Chancellor, Keith served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the College and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Chancellor and supported 380 Faculty, 950 Staff, & 69,000 Students (annually). Prior his time at Pima he held various progressive leadership and management positions within IT during his distinguished and decorated 24.5 year service in the United States Air Force.   Keith has a Masters of Business Administration degree (Summa Cum Laude) with a concentration in Information Technology Management from Trident University International (TUI) (formerly Touro University International or TUIU) in Cypress, CA and received his undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from Bellevue University in Bellevue, NE.   Keith has served on numerous committees, working groups, advisory groups, and panels for higher education information technology. Mac was the inaugural recipient of the EDUCAUSE Rising Star Award in 2011, a Jane N. Ryland Fellowship recipient, EDUCAUSE, 2012, and a Leading Change Institute (formerly Frye Leadership Institute) Fellow, CLIR/EDUCAUSE, 2012.
