About the Person
Kathleen McLean has been the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President at The ADT Corporation since June 3, 2013. Ms. McLean served as the Chief Information Officer and executive vice president at Fairpoint Communications, Inc. from March 2010 to April 13, 2012. Ms. McLean has more than 30 years of information-technology experience, including 16 years in telecommunications. Ms. McLean served as Senior Vice President of Customer Service at Verizon Partner Solutions, leading a team of 9,000 employees worldwide. She joined Verizon`s IT organization in 1998. Prior to that, she spent nearly 12 years in several leadership positions at Verizon Communications, Inc., implementing people, process and systems strategies to improve operating performance and customer service across all sectors of the company. She served as a Vice President in the Telecom group at American Management Systems Inc. (now part of CGI Group, Inc.). Ms. McLean began her career as a Financial Systems Analyst with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C. Ms. McLean earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service degree in International Economics from Georgetown University and did graduate work in information systems management at george washington university.
