About the Person

Kathy D`Amario is the mastermind behind creating and delivering Medecision`s industry-leading solutions. Not only is she extremely creative, innovative and energetic, but she also has an extensive background in health information technology and a proven record of success.   As Medecision’s chief technology officer, Kathy leads the strategic technology direction of the company’s software products, including all phases of architecture and design, and delivery of cutting-edge technologies and solutions. She joined Medecision in 2009 to help direct the re-write of the Company’s core solution to be modern, open, and web services- and standards-based, ultimately creating and successfully migrating customers to Aerial™, a leading cloud-based population health management platform delivered through a SaaS model, that achieved new levels of scale, performance and reliability, and continues to increase the Company’s competitiveness and market opportunity. Beyond her years with Medecision, D’Amario brings years of proven success and a wealth of knowledge in architecting and developing scalable SaaS products and healthcare IT platforms from previous roles at CIGNA Corporation, ING, Aetna Retirement Services and Mass Mutual.
