Karl D. Triebes has been an Advisor at F5 Networks, Inc. since September 6, 2016. Mr. Triebes served as the Chief Technical Officer at F5 Networks, Inc. from August 16, 2004 to September 6, 2016 and served as its Executive Vice President of Product Development from August 2004 to September 6, 2016. Mr. Triebes served as the Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Engineering at Foundry Networks Inc. in San Jose, where he had been responsible for the strategic direction of corporate product architectures and technology roadmap, since January 2003. He served as Senior Vice-President of Product Development of F5 Networks Inc. He served as Vice President of Hardware Engineering of Foundry Networks Inc. from June 2001 to January 2003. From May 2000 to June 2001, Mr. Triebes served as Vice President of Engineering at Alcatel U.S.A, where he led and provided technical direction to a diverse team of over 200 engineers in the development of a next generation multimedia gateway platform. From December 1999 to May 2000, he served as Assistant Vice President of Newbridge Networks Corp., a networking company subsequently acquired by Alcatel. From January 1997 to December 1999, he served as Vice President of Systems and Software of Stanford Telecommunications Inc. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of ClariPhy Communications, Inc. Mr. Triebes holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University.
